Join Julien Fauqueur, Lead AI Scientist at BenevolentAI, for a  talk on how BenevolentAI combines AI with cutting edge science to de-risk drug discovery.

Julien will give an introduction to BenevolentAI to the UKRI CDT Uni.Ed PhD students, and explore how we use machine learning and natural language processing to extract biomedical facts from literature, identify targets and, identify patient subgroups.

Julien Fauqueur

As Lead AI scientist at BenevolentAI, Julien Fauqueur leads and develops novel NLP methods for Biomedical Information Extraction. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from INRIA (France). While a research associate at the University of Cambridge, then as as a researcher in industry, he delivered innovative products using computer vision and machine learning methods. He co-authored around 30 academic publications and 5 patents.
