Senior Project Manager

The Role

BenevolentAI is undertaking multiple collaborations with external partners in the Pharmaceutical industry. With this in mind, we are looking for a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of such collaborations by managing cross-functional teams across geographies as well as external stakeholders in a dynamic environment to ensure successful delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • You will define and refine the project plan for an external collaboration, and associated timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage the project on a day-to-day basis ensuring a smooth delivery across teams (both on-site and remote).
  • Expose and clarify dependencies and potential limitations.
  • Track and appropriately communicate status, decisions, actions, risks and issues to stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholders both internally and externally, working cross-functionally.

We are looking for someone with

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects in a timely manner, ideally across geographies.
  • 3+ years with project management of complex projects with a technological or technical component and involving external stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • You have a can-do attitude and a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in life sciences and/or in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bachelor’s in Natural Sciences/Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the consulting industry.
  • Project management qualifications e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile.
