Senior Product Manager

The Role

As Product Manager for Target Identification, you will work with the Product Area Lead contributing towards defining the BenevolentAI strategy for exploring, selecting, and analysing biological data, identifying our drug discoverer and informatician user needs and setting the product objectives of your team.

We are keen to hear from Product Managers with experience working with multi-modality biological data and either user-facing products or AI/ML-focussed teams with a proven track record building technical products that create significant impact for their users.

Challenging and meaningful, this role will give you a chance to bring your own experience, ideas, and creativity to push forward exciting projects quickly with the chance to try genuinely new ways to find medicines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads the requirements definition of our data exploration and selection tools and captures user needs that help maximise the value and use of our data.
  • Manages multi-disciplinary squads responsible for the creation of solutions that directly impact our drug discovery processes
  • Runs agile product management of squads.
  • Owns, prioritises and promotes the feature requests from users.
  • Employs a user-driven approach to identify user needs and ensures senior stakeholders and the broader business understand the value of this approach.
  • Leads the measurement and validation of our data products and features.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains a solid foundation of market knowledge in the area, proactively identifies potential issues/risks.
  • Employs a user-driven approach to identify user needs and ensures senior stakeholders and the broader business understand the value of this approach.
  • As a senior member of the Product Management team, contributes to defining an effective product management process that can scale as the business continues to grow.

We are looking for someone with

  • A BSc in a scientific or technical field (engineering, maths, science) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience as a Product Manager.
  • Experience capturing complex user needs and improving user experience from multidisciplinary end users.
  • Experience in a commercial and agile environment.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels inside an organisation.
Nice to haves
  • Pharmaceutical or biomedical experience is a plus.
