The Role

BenevolentAI are excited to have a fantastic opportunity to join our team on a full-time basis based in our modern spec offices in London. The People Coordinator supports the ongoing business partnering approach of the People function by delivering comprehensive operational HR services across all BenevolentAI locations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with managers and employees in order to coach and advise on People policies, practices and procedures.
  • Provides support to the People team in the creation, implementation and improvement of People policies, procedures, programs which focuses on delivering a positive employee experience
  • Supports the delivery of the employee experience focused on people planning, onboarding, talent management, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, reward and recognition and employee offboarding.
  • Provides day to day support and advice to Managers and employees on people related queries, requests and Policies and Procedures, escalating more complex issues to the wider People team as required
  • Supports the full employee life cycle including candidate onboarding, offer documents, inductions, payroll, talent movement and talent offboarding.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • ad hoc HR correspondence
  • Undertakes other duties from time to time as required by the HR Director

We are looking for someone with

  • Proven experience in a similar role in a fast paced, professional environment
  • Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to represent the company effectively internally and externally
  • Knowledge of HR processes and good practice.
  • Experience of dealing with confidential/sensitive information
  • Experience of using an HRIS
  • Experience of coordinating monthly payroll activities
  • Proficient knowledge of working with Microsoft Office Suite, namely Excel
  • Flexible, adaptable team player
  • Self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
