Financial Planning Analyst

The Role

BenevolentAI's Finance team is looking for an enthusiastic Financial Planning Analyst to join the team. The right candidate will be a dynamic and aspirational entry level candidate who wishes to begin or continue their career in FP&A. If you have a keen interest in learning and developing experience after recently gaining your finance qualification we would like to hear from you.

Primary Responsabilities

  • Management Accounts – Assistance with the preparation of consolidated monthly Management Accounts for the group and preparing variance analysis, reviewed with FP&A Lead.
  • Monthly Cost Analysis - Detailed analysis of costs by function and insight review with FP&A Lead.
  • Financial Business Partnering - support the functional heads of departments with all financial issues. Support will include budget management, insight generation and business plan delivery. Goal is to add value to the rest of the business and make Finance business partnering indispensable.
  • Business Planning – Engaging with Budget holders to assist them with their submissions and ensuring they are in line with the Group’s OKR’s. Assistance with preparation of Financial Plan documents.
  • Financial Modelling – Preparation of financial models and ad hoc analysis to assist with key business decisions and corporate development.

We are looking for someone with

  • Relevant Financial Qualification (e.g. ACMA / ACA / ACCA)
  • Post qualification experience in an FP&A role.
  • A highly motivated individual who can communicate well at all levels with finance and non-finance individuals. Can adapt and embrace change.
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience in a pharma/biotech industry would be an advantage but not essential.
