The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding group supporting a growing pipeline of projects. The team are looking for an experienced, motivated and creative DMPK modeler to join us to leverage modeling and simulation approaches to improve decision making. You will have the opportunity to support multi-functional project teams throughout discovery, through candidate nomination, preclinical safety and into Phase I and Phase II studies, driving progress with models to understand drug disposition, FIH predictions, formulation design, and DDI predictions.

We are looking for someone at either Senior Principal Scientist or Director level.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on PK, PBPK and PKPD modelling support for pre-clinical and clinical PK projects to improve decision making.
  • Apply PBPK platforms to address DDI as well as PK predictions in special populations.
  • Provide study level Non-Compartmental Analysis(NCA) and population PK/PD analysis and reporting.
  • Biomarker modelling and QTc analysis.
  • Provide inputs to various in vitro DMPK assays as well as clinical study protocols based on modelling outputs or requirements.

We are looking for someone with

  • At least 5 years of industry ADME and PK expertise, with an in-depth understanding of the fundamental principles of drug absorption and distribution.
  • PhD in a relevant scientific discipline (Maths, pharmacology, biochemistry or other DMPK related science) or MS
  • Experience with PBPK software SimCYP and /or Gastroplus as well as Phoenix and NONMEM
  • Proven experience applying modelling and simulation techniques to guide decision making
  • Excellent scientific writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • A good team player who is able to network and influence people and teams.
