The Role

The Director of Business Development and Growth will be responsible for Technology Collaboration deals on behalf of BenevolentAI with Pharma and Biotech companies. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and the scientists and technologists to help shape both the company and the way that the industry approaches drug discovery/development. With a proven track record of successfully securing new business within the industry you will be highly proactive and a strategic thinker.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for technology Collaborations and Partnerships with Pharma and Biotech.
  • Creating and structuring relevant deals for our business to ensure the success of our products and our business.
  • Looking at how we innovate within Business Development and Corporate Development and how we explore collaborations and partnerships and maintain our IP and protect the business’s best interests.
  • Evaluating all new business opportunities and the risk/ credence of the opportunities you explore.
  • Experience with Commercial contracts.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Inter-team awareness of collaboration drives across the company and the complexities surrounding potential partnerships.

We are looking for someone with

  • Experience selling software or software-like consultancy solutions into pharmaceutical R&D is essential.
  • A scientific background would be a benefit, but isn’t essential in this role.
  • A proven track record within business development in Pharma and senior contact lists.
  • Sophisticated communication style and the ease of liaising with multiple levels in a business.
